More Flexibility for Chart Layouts

First of all, on behalf of the whole combit team I'd like to wish you a happy belated new year. I hope you enjoyed the holiday season and start into 2017 with refueled energy. While we're busily working on version 23 already, I'd like to continue sharing some hidden gems in List & Label 22.

The new Treemap and Radar charts we added to version 22 outshined some nice chart layout features we’ve provided in the new version. The chart grid lines now support the same line type settings as e.g. the frame lines. You can have dashed, dotted or solid lines along with a variety of mixtures of those.

This allows e.g. to make the grid lines less prominent than before in order to put more emphasis on the data itself. In addition to y-axis grid lines, you can now also have grid lines for the x-axis. This makes complex charts much easier to read. The following chart shows a simple example for the new features with added dashed grid lines on the x-Axis. Looks great, doesn’t it?
